Kelly Ripa (standing here with Alan Cumming) went piece-y with her hair at the the CNN Heroes tribute last night and the change was quite sexy on her.
It's unusual to see it on Kelly-she's normally a silky-finish type of girl-so it really stands out. And, sure, her hair looked a little unwashed, but that's what I find hot about it. She looks all bedheady and disheveled in that 'I just rolled out of bed with my lover' sort of way. I think she pulled it off.
If you agree and now want to get in on this texture here's my trick: Use salt spray (like Bumble and bumble Surf Spray) and twist your hair in very loose, thin locks while you blow-dry. Then after it's dry, don't brush your hair, just run your fingers through it.
